Despite the challenges posed by the unpredictable climate, Haroldo remains steadfast in his commitment to coffee farming. Nestled amidst the lush landscapes of the Cerrado region, Sitio Babilonia farm benefits from the fertile soils and favorable climatic conditions of the area. However, Haroldo de Almeida’s journey hasn’t been without its challenges, facing adversities like unpredictable weather patterns due to the changing climate. Recently, a huge part of his farm was destroyed by a severe hailstorm – but Haroldo remains undeterred in his pursuit of excellence and has managed to recover since.

At Sitio Babilonia, meticulous attention is paid to every stage of coffee production. From the biological fertilization and usage of organic compost, through careful selection of coffee cherries to the innovative processing methods employed, Haroldo ensures that only the finest beans make their way to your cup.
